Craftspeople at Mole Hollow Candles^® have been making fine candles by hand for over 33 years. At every step of manufacturing, packing and shipping, any employee is free to reject any candle that he or she feels doesn't meet our standards. The end result is that you will receive only the finest candles from Mole Hollow. From the smallest Half Taper to the largest Evening^TM Candle, our bottom line is quality. Mole Hollow would not have it any other way.

Our Standard Tapers come in 32 brilliant, unscented, wick-to-finish colors -- solid color throughout. Our unique Spun Finish^® produces a color and texture you won't find on any other candles. These are the candles that grace the most elegant tables and add a quiet glamour to any setting. They are 7/8" in diameter and available in 6", 8", 10" and 12" lengths in a colorful gift box of 6 pairs.

We've taken seven of our most elegant and popular scents and combined them with three beautiful colors in the timeless grace of a 10" Standard Taper. Hollyberry, Bayberry, French Vanilla, Blueberry, Cape Cod Cranberry, Siberian Fir, and Gingerbread 10" Standard Tapers are available by the pair in our uniquely tapered gift boxes, each with a charming illustration and a story on the back.

Our Half Tapers are so-called because they are a mere 1/2" in diameter, yet they feature the same distinctive Spun Finish^® in the same 31 colors as our Standard Tapers. Candles this size are hard to find. They are ideal as party favors, place-setting lights, and as a decorative touch to festive gatherings. They come 12 pairs to a box in 4 1/2", 6" and 10" lengths.

Beeswax candles are a centuries-old tradition. Their popularity endures because of the long burn time, crisp, tight flame and wonderful honey fragrance. Beeswax is used as a prime medium for aromatherapy. Our solid Beeswax candles are available as Votives, all four Standard Tapers sizes, all three Half Taper sizes, and in a two-pair 10" Standard Taper Gift Box featuring a nice little story about Mr. Mole and the bees.

We call these 3" diameter pillars Evening^TMCandles because they are meant to be burned for a few hours at a time -- perfect for adding a soft, scented glow to a cozy evening. They are available in 37 elegant scents and colors and in three sizes -- 3" high, 6" high and 9" high. Our 3" Evening^TM Candle will burn for 50 hours while our 9" will last for over 100 hours. That's a lot of cozy evenings!

We've been making jars for over 20 years and we know there's more to it than just pouring wax into a jar and calling it a candle. Our newest line are these Crackle Glass Jars. These jars are special for several reasons. First, you are not going to see another line that looks like it. The jar and lid were designed and manufactured exclusively for Mole Hollow Candles^®. The color comes through soft and warm because of the crackle finish, similar to the effect of the spun finish on our tapers. But, what makes these jars particularly special is the marriage of soy wax, that burns completely smoke and soot-free, with our bestselling fragrances and colors. Not only does the jar burn clean with no soot, but the soy wax is a wonderful vehicle for dispersing fragrance, and the fragrances are terrific. This jar candle needs to have a wick trim before lighting, But forgetting occasionally will not alter the fine burn. Trimming the wick increases the burn time, which is approximately 50 hours. They are available in 12 of our more popular scents.

Our relatively new Travel Tins and Votives are also made from soy wax. Both burn clean and long, both contain only pure botanical wax and pure botanical aroma (essential oils). Soy is grown right here in the U.S., is a renewable and biodegradable product, and washes up with soap and water. Even the colors we add are food grade. In fact, the wax is edible. (But, who would want to??) Available in 5 aromas as well as Aroma-Free.

Votive candles continue to be popular worldwide. Our hand-poured Votives feature 38 gorgeous colors and elegant scents, and each one burns for 15 hours. They come 18 to a whimsical little box featuring Mr. Mole and his nephew and niece. Remember, for safety sake, always burn a Votive in a votive holder.

We introduced our Hearth and Camp line several years ago and its popularity keeps growing. The line comes packaged in "woodsy" boxes featuring Mr. Mole and his family roughing it. Our Log Lighters^TM, packaged 12 to a box, are fool-proof tools for lighting a stubborn wood fire in the campsite, woodstove or fireplace. Our Camp Candle^TM comes in Siberian Fir or mosquito-repelling Citronella. Camp Candles^TM are poured into an old-fashioned spatterware camp cup. After about 50 hours of burn time, you end up with a nice campside coffee mug. QuickFire^tm is strictly for the outdoors -- canoeing, car-camping and even short hikes. It's an instant campfire that burns several hours, even in a torrential downpour, leaving nothing but a small pile of ash. We also offer Citronella Votives to help keep the bugs at bay. Both QuickFire^TM and Log Lighters^TM are made from recycled scrap wax and wood, part of Mole Hollow's commitment to turning "waste" into useful products and reducing the demands on our environment.
